Life Is A Rollercoaster

What amazes me every day is the hate that is guiding our citizens. It doesn’t matter what the topic there seems to be an array of hatred being spewed. I am not picking out any certain party or organizations, it is on all sides.

We have become a nation filled with lies, anger and yes, hate. Especially the hatred for Trump. No matter what happens it is his fault. Even if proven right, it is still wrong. People have let their hatred for one person guide them and lose their common sense. Take a look at our states right now. Rioting (yea, protests), looting, burning you name it and there it is in our faces.

When talking to a group of friends about six months ago I stated that in all our frenzied unrest we have become so divided that it is frightening. Why? In my opinion while we are showing our unrest other countries are watching. They see the turmoil and will use it as their advantage. We are showing other countries, especially those that wish to overthrow our country how weak as a nation we are. Yes, weak.

If you think that Iran, China and Russia has not noticed the divide you need to get your head out of the sand. Let’s throw in North Korea just to make it a real party.

What is the solution?

How about stop the hate rhetoric about each and everything that goes on. Find a balance in solving the problem instead of adding more to the pot filled hate.

United we stand

Divided we fall

Since 2016 the downfall of personal opinions has come under fire. During this time, I saw the writing on the wall when I was asked if I was going to vote for Hilary. I stated no thinking that would be the end of the conversation. BUT no, it was not.

I was put under the screws of the why’s and why nots. I proceeded to lightly explain. At the end of the one-sided heated discussion, it was noted that I should vote for Hilary. When I asked why, the sole reason was she is a woman. This caused a riff on the other side. I personally do not care who you vote for as it is your individual right to vote your conscious not vote because of gender.

This was the start. After that it was slowly worse. Everyone has the right to think and feel the way they want. Yes, listening to other sides is a useful tool to gain more knowledge and maybe just maybe change your view.

Now, a person cannot say how they feel about anything. If your opinion does not match an another’s you are put down, called names or worse loose friends and even family. When did one side outweigh the other? Not everyone believes the same things as you.

So now you have to personally chose silence or voicing your opinion and take the chance of some pretty disastrous backlash. Is it worth it?

Sometimes.
